Heerenveen Manager, Van Persie Blows Hot As Opponents Field 12 Players

Heerenveen manager, Robin van Persie, was left fumning after match officials mistakenly allowed Fortuna Sittard field 12 players against his team on Saturday.

The incident happened in the 88th minute of the game with Van Persies men leading 2-1.

Fortuna made a double-substitution that saw Ryan Fosso and Jasper Dahlhaus come off for Darijo Grujcic and Owen Johnson.

However, Dahlhaus did not come off the pitch and played for nearly a minute.

Van Persie noticed the mistake and protested on the sidelines before Dahlhaus eventually came off.
