There is a heavy police presence outside the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court In Ekurhuleni, ahead of the first appearance of a Pastor and three others this morning.
They are facing charges of assault, intimidation and contravention of the Dangerous Weapons Act.
This relates to a video circulating on social media showing the Pastor and two others using weapons to threaten teachers and learners at the Matsediso Primary School in Katlehong, east of Johannesburg.
Nyalas and police water tankers are stationed outside the court.
South African Police Service (SAPS) and Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department (EMPD) officials are on standby in anticipation of possible protest action.
