Guinea succumbed to a 3-0 defeat to the United States of America (USA) at the Paris 2024 Olympics in the Mens Football Tournament on Tuesday.
The defeat at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard saw the Young National Elephants bow out of the tournament having lost all of their three matches in Group A.
It took just 14 minutes for the Young Stars and Stripes to break the deadlock as Djordje Mihailovic hit the back of the net to hand his side a 1-0 lead.
Kevin Paredes, who was a constant threat to the Guinea defence, then doubled the USAs lead in the 31st minute with a decent finish and the score was 2-0 at the interval.
The second-half saw Paredes continue to torment the African sides defence and he grabbed his brace in the 75th minute to make it 3-0 to the Young Stars and Stripes.
