Guardiola Confirms Key Man City Player To Miss Aston Villa Clash

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Ruben Dias will miss the club's Premier League match against Aston Villa on Saturday.

Guardiola revealed that Dias will be sidelined for around four weeks due to injury. "Ruben Dias will be out with an injury for 3-4 weeks," Guardiola stated during his pre-match press conference on Friday.

He explained that Dias had been playing through pain after sustaining an issue during the match against Manchester United, where he played for 75 minutes despite the discomfort.

However, Guardiola will welcome the return of Manuel Akanji and John Stones to his squad for the upcoming clash with Aston Villa.
