International Relations and Cooperation Minister Ronald Lamola says the Government of National Unity GNU looks forward to rebuilding trade and investment relations with the United Kingdom.
He is hosting his UK counterpart, David Lammy in Cape Town.
This is as Prince of Wales William is in the country this week, to officiate at the fourth Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony that honours future leaders that are driving transformative change in climate action and sustainability.
The bilateral meeting comes on the back of a recent visit by Deputy President Paul Mashatile to the UK in an effort to rebuild investor confidence.
Lamola says it is time to rebuild relations.
