Minister in the Presidency for Women, Youth and Persons with disabilities Sindisiwe Chikunga believes that the Gender-Based Violence and Femicide GBVF National Dashboard signifies a turning point to hold perpetrators accountable.

Chikunga has emphasised the importance of prioritising Seven Pillars of the National Strategic Plan including justice, prevention and accountability.

The Minister was speaking during the launch of the National End GBVF Dashboard at the Anglo-American Centre in Johannesburg this morning.

Chikunga says the dashboard aims to track and monitor progress of GBVF cases .

The e nd gender violence and femicide dashboard will centralise real time data and service delivery, prevention of thoughts and justice outcomes allowing us to identify patterns, gaps and progress with clarity. It enables us to track implementation across all pillars of the national strategic plan, offering a birds-eye view of how our country is responding at local, provincial, and national levels.
