Gauteng Education Mec Pledges To Boost Results In 2025

Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane has committed to intensify efforts to improve results in 2025. Gauteng province came in third with an 88.4 matric pass rate.

Chiloane says last years performance was the best since 1995.

Chiloane and Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi have honoured the top achievers with bursaries at a celebratory event in Bryanston.

To ensure effective teaching and learning, the focus of our strategies in Gauteng are geared toward our learners and the classroom as a unit of change. For effective teaching and learning, we have to ensure that classrooms are fully functional. We must continue to demand accountability for results.
