KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi announced that more arrests are anticipated in the ongoing investigation into the murder of rapper Kiernan AKA Forbes in Durban. Mkhwanazi shared this update during a media briefing in Durban.

In February last year, Forbes and his friend Tebello Motsoane were fatally shot outside a restaurant. During a bail application hearing for five men at the Durban Magistrates Court, it was revealed that R800,000 had been paid to one of the alleged key figures involved in the killings. However, the motive for the shooting and whether others were involved remain unclear.

Mkhwanazi noted that the investigation is progressing, stating, "We are uncovering intriguing details. We are collaborating closely with the NPA to follow all leads. Further arrests are expected, and we will leave no stone unturned. Anyone involved in these murders will be held accountable."
