Funding Agencies To Be Remodeled For Easier Access To Funds: Matibe

Limpopo Economic Development MEC Tshitereke Matibe says they will remodel business funding agencies to allow easy access of funds for small businesses.

Matibe says in the new model young people will be able to access funds from business agencies.

The commitment comes in line with the Premier Phophi Ramathubas State of the Province Address SOPA last week that directed the government to remove red tape on access to funding.

Matibe was speaking during the SOPA debate at the provincial legislature in Lebowakgomo.

We are seriously in the work to reevaluating the criteria of SMMES support fund as you have directed honourable premier to ensure that it recognises the potential of small businesses that were previously marginalised so that we can support and mentor them in a way that will ensure inclusivity and redress in addition we are driving forwards youth inclusion through what we call township support programme, says Matibe.
