The international friendly between Russia and Nigeria will hold at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow on Friday, June 6, DAILY POST reports.

The Russia Football Union, RFU, announced the venue on its official website on Friday.

Valery Karpins side last game at the Luzhniki Stadium was against Croatia -a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier on September 1, 2021.

It is the first time Russia and Nigeria will be meeting at this level.

The Russians will also face Belarus in another friendly in Minsk on Tuesday, June 10.
