French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) announced on Wednesday that the French Football League (LFP) has proposed to mediate the dispute between Kylian Mbappe and the club regarding unpaid wages and bonuses for the striker.

Mbappe insists he is owed 55 million euros ($60.6m) by PSG, which the club contends that the 25-year-old had agreed to forgo in August 2023.

The French captain is pressing for the amount, including his signing bonus due in February, his final three months salary, and an ethical bonus for the period.

Legal representatives of both parties met on Wednesday after Mbappe , who recently moved to Real Madrid, brought his case to the LFPs legal committee. The league then suggested mediation.

Paris Saint-Germain is satisfied with the two-hour hearing before the commission today, PSG stated.
