Free State Motorists Happy That There Is More Police Visibility

Motorists in the Free State have expressed a desire for more traffic officers on the roads during this festive season. They believe that increased visibility of officers promotes road safety, which contributes to fewer fatalities in the province.

In response, the Free State Departments of Community Safety, Roads and Transport, and Health have launched the Provincial Festive Season Road Safety Campaign. A major roadblock was set up on the N1, just outside Bloemfontein, as part of the campaign to ensure safer travel during the festive period.
