Fans of the I Know What You Did Last Summer franchise are in for a treat as Freddie Prinze jr is set to reprise his role as Ray Bronson in the upcoming sequel.
The 47-year-old actor featured in the 1997 horror movie, which was loosely based on the Lois Duncan novel of the same name.
Starring opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt , Ryan Phillippe and Sarah Michelle Gellar , who he met while filming and married in 2002, it centres around four teenagers from a small seaside town who cover up a car accident in which they believed they killed someone.
A year later, the group is stalked by a hook-wielding killer.
Prinze jr and Hewitt returned in 1998 for I Still Know What You Did Last Summer as well as the straight-to-video sequel Ill Always Know What You Did Last Summer.
