The case against the former Chief Financial Officer of the Sekhukhune District Municipality in Limpopo and four co-accused has been postponed in the Special Commercial Crimes Court in Polokwane.

Charles Malema allegedly conspired with the co-accused and made a payment of R5.4 million to people who never rendered services to the municipality.

They are facing fraud and money laundering charges amounting to over R5 million. Magistrate Tom Kganyago postponed the matter for a plea and pre-trial hearing.
