Frankfurt Secure Elye Wahi From Marseille To Fill Marmoush Void

Eintracht Frankfurt have secured a replacement for forward Omar Marmoush, announcing on Friday the signing of Elye Wahi from Marseille.

The 22-year-old France U21 forward has agreed to terms with the Bundesliga club until 2030.

Marmoush, who netted 15 goals and provided 10 assists in 17 league appearances for Frankfurt, left the club for Premier League side Manchester City on Thursday for a reported 68 million 59 million, 72.6 million.

While Frankfurt did not disclose the transfer fee for Wahi, German media reports suggest the deal is worth 20 million, potentially rising to 25 million with bonuses.

Wahi has scored three goals and provided one assist in 13 Ligue 1 appearances this season, having joined Marseille from Lens in August 2024.
