former apla operative gives testimony in highgate massacre inquest

A former APLA operative, who refused to be identified, has told the Highgate Massacre inquest sitting at the East London High Court that he had no knowledge of five people who died at Highgate Hotel in 1993.

The witness told the tribunal that he was sentenced for various crimes including the Highgate massacre.

He added that he was not a part of a team of people who planned and executed the attack.

The witness was arrested in 1994, a year after the incident.

Speaking on behalf of the families of the victims, Theresa Edliman says they are happy with the direction the inquest is taking.
