Fnb Confirmed As Springboks New Headline Sponsor After Mtn's Exit

SA Rugby and FNB have announced that the bank is the new headline sponsor for all national teams, including the Springboks.
The FNB logo will now appear on the front of all team jerseys, the two entities said in a statement shared by SA Rugby on Wednesday 26 March.
FNB is the Springboks new headline sponsorThe agreement sees the FNB logo move from the shoulders of the Springboks to the front of the playing jersey, but also onto the front of the men's and women's sevens teams, and all age group teams, they added.
FNB has already been a South African rugby sponsor since 2017 and the headline sponsor for the Springbok Women's team for three years now.
"FNB has been an outstanding partner to the Springboks and rugby for many years and we are delighted that we have aligned to take the relationship to the next level, SA Rugby CEO Rian Oberholzer said.
Fans will get to see the FNB logo on the front of Springboks Test match jerseys when the team plays Italy in Pretoria on 5 July.

The bank has also been investing in youth platforms such as Classic Clashes and Varsity Cup, its Chief Marketing Officer Faye Mfikwe added.
The announcement comes a day after MTN and SA Rugby announced the end of their successful eight-year partnership, during which the Springboks won the Rugby World Cup twice.
"After closing the page on a winning campaign on-and-off the field, where the game was taken from the big lights of Emirates Airline Park, Stade de France and Twickenham to the inner cities, small towns and rural areas where growth needed a boost, the Boks and MTN will now open new chapters in their respective sponsorship journeys, they said.
