Delays continue for FlySafair flights across the country, as the airline works to resolve a backlog caused by technical system challenges.
Technical issues in FlySafairs check-in and boarding processes at several airports, including OR Tambo, King Shaka International and Cape Town International. In response, FlySafair staff manually checked in passengers at the gates, causing FlySafair flights to be delayed.
Passengers reported waiting in queues for hours at a time on the social media platform X .
FlySafairs Chief Marketing Officer Kirby Gordon told Travel News yesterday afternoon that the technical glitch had been resolved, the systems are now back online and check-ins are working as they should.
He added that this would affect the airlines ontime performance.
