Flight Disruptions Expected At George Airport Due To Severe Weather

Flights are expected to be disrupted at George Airport in the Western Cape today due to severe inclement weather conditions.

The Air Traffic and Navigation Services ATNS says the unsafe conditions include strong winds.

They could affect a particular runway that is currently under maintenance.

Earlier this month, flights had to be delayed at the same airport due to the impact of bad weather conditions.

Spokesperson Mphilo Dlamini says they are monitoring the situation.
