Police in Limpopo have arrested five suspects following road spiking incidents on the N1.
In a statement, police say several cases have been reported of motorists driving along the N1 near Bela Bela who have had their vehicles damaged as a result of spikes placed on the road.
Information received revealed that robbers on the N1 were arrested and detained at Brits and Temba police stations.
The five suspects face armed robbery charges.
Three of the five are facing a murder charge.
