Team Nigeria did not win any medals at the Paris 2024 Olympics . Despite competing in 12 events, the team was unable to replicate its continental success at the Olympic level. Nigeria sent 88 athletes in 12 different sports.
Despite outstanding performances by individuals such as Favour Ofili in running and Blessing Oborududu in wrestling, the team could not meet their medal targets.
However, some athletes of Nigerian heritage made significant achievements while representing other countries. These athletes, who were born in Nigeria or had Nigerian ancestry, represented Germany, Bahrain, the United States, France, Great Britain, and Spain.
They secured Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals in sports including hammer throw, football, and basketball.
