Final Tests Conducted At The Rooiwal Wastewater Treatment Works
The City of Tshwane says final tests are currently being conducted on the Rooiwal Wastewater Treatment Works in Hammanskraal-north of Pretoria.
Following the Cholera outbreak in the area that resulted in forty deaths last year, residents called for the rehabilitation and upgrading of the facility.
Executive Mayor Nasiphi Moya says some Hammanskraal residents can have clean and portable water this month.
Our teams are currently doing final tests and will announce when water is safe for consumption. It is important that I remind residents that only the following areas will get clean water in December 2024 - Mandela village, Morokolong, Ramotse, Kekana Gardens, Steve Bikoville and Bridgeview informal settlements.
