Family Seeks Justice For Murdered Traffic Warden

The family of Patricia Keppler, a 22-year-old Gauteng Traffic Warden from Eldorado Park, is seeking justice following her murder. Her boyfriend, a 42-year-old police officer, has been arrested in connection with the crime.

According to the Independent Police Investigative Directorate IPID, the suspect allegedly fired multiple shots through a window at Kepplers residence on Thursday. He then fled the scene and attempted to take his own life. He is currently under police guard in the hospital.

Kepplers father, Trevor Keppler, expressed heartbreak over his daughters death. He said he was aware of his daughters alleged abuse through her friends.

She didnt want me to get involved. Thats the sad part, Keppler said.

I told her, Im your father. I will always be there for you and love you. Despite challenges, we always had to hear what was happening from the streets.
