Expected Petrol Price Increases Set For March 2025

Data from the Central Energy Fund CEF seemingly indicates that the petrol price hike intended for March 2025 will be much smaller than expected.

However, as a result of unstable global markets, the possibility of a stark price hike remains.

According to data provided by the CEF , Diesel has shown a smaller increase than expected and there is a possibility of a slight price cut.

The expected fuel prices for March 2025 are as follows:

• Petrol 93: increase of 23 cents per litre
• Petrol 95: increase of 10 cents per litre
• Diesel 0.05 wholesale: increase of 4 cents per litre
• Diesel 0.005 wholesale: decrease of 3 cents per litre
• Illuminating paraffin: increase of 16 cents per litre

Data provided by the CEF does not allow for an exact determination of the expected petrol price in March, as the daily snapshots provided by CEF are not entirely predictive of the final fuel price adjustments.
