Former Liverpool defender, Mark Lawrenson, has said that football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo, is more likely to buy EFL League One club Wrexham.
This is against a recent claim that the Portuguese could join the club as a player.
According to Lawrenson, anything is possible in football at the moment but not to the extent of Ronaldo plying his trade at Wrexham due to the clubs small audience.
Ronaldos current deal at Saudi Pro League side, Al Nassr will expire next summer and the former Manchester United star is likely to retire at the club.
As such, rumors are rife that he may be looking for a new challenge.
