Readers are always excited to hear news about their favorite and most popular digital library, Kindle where they get hold of millions of ebooks with a small monthly subscription rate. But Kindle was kind of in the historical printing era where only black and white prints were available.
Amazon on Wednesday, 9 October announced their first color Kindle after years of development, the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition. This would be exciting for those who like to buy a Kindle or update their old one. The device is focused on bringing colors to the previous paperwhite versions.
This new Kindle brings color to the comics available on the ebook with great clarity. Kindle Colorsoft has a 7-inch 300 ppi black and white and 150 ppi color display, the same as the latest Kindle Paperwhite other than the color. It has the same efficient fluidity, fast page turns, high resolution, and long battery life.
The major difference is that this is a colored version of the previous Paperwhite model, and the screen is not as smooth as a tablet with the glare and intense light, but good enough for great picture quality of comics and reading. It also uses LED technology of 12 White LEDs and 13 Amber LEDs to achieve the display.
