Even If My Wife Cheats On Me, I Wont Divorce Her Peter Obi
Peter Obi, the Labour Partys presidential candidate in Nigerias 2023 general election, has affirmed his commitment to his wife, Margaret Brownson, declaring that he would not consider divorceeven in the event of infidelity.
In an appearance on The Honest Bunch podcast, hosted by comedian and actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu Wazobia, Obi shared his personal beliefs about marriage and loyalty, expressing an enduring commitment to his spouse.
The former governor of Anambra State underscored his loyalty, stating that he would support his wife through any potential challenges, including instances of infidelity
No matter what my wife does today, I wont divorce her. I cant separate from her. I can never. Even if she like let her shoot me, as long as I am alive, shes my wife, he affirmed.
No matter what she does, I wont marry someone else. Shes my wife. Whatever she likes, let her do because what is she going to do that would offend me? What? Maybe have an extramarital affair? Its her business. Its not me. They wont say two of us have an affair. They would say Peter Obi is a very good man who married a woman who is promiscuous. That is it!
