Eskom customers in Malamulele, Limpopo, are facing issues uploading pre-paid electricity coupons despite having recorded their meter boxes. Some customers have accused Eskom workers at the Malamulele offices of taking too long to assist them, while others are unable to buy pre-paid electricity, even from official vendors.
These customers have expressed frustration about queuing in the hot sun and the impact on their daily lives, including food going rotten. Eskom has extended the deadline to upgrade prepaid meters to November 29.
