Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus has named a strong 33-man squad, led by double Rugby World Cup-winning captain Siya Kolisi, for the two-match Rugby Championship tour to Australia
Twenty-two of the players have represented the Springboks at the Rugby World Cup, and five 2024 debutants have been added to the squad.
They include utility front-ranker Jan-Hendrik Wessels, hooker Johan Grobbelaar, utility forward Ben-Jason Dixon, utility back Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu and scrumhalf Morne van den Berg.
The only newcomer to the squad is lock Ruan Nortje, who made his Springbok debut against Wales in 2022.
All the other players have featured in at least one of the teams opening four test matches this season.
