Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has wished the new Manchester United head coach well at the Premier League side.
Amorim began work at Uniteds Carrington Training Centre on Monday.
Ronaldo is happy that his compatriot has been given the chance to coach the Red Devils.
Amorim replaces Erik ten Hag, who Ronaldo famously fell out with prior to leaving Old Trafford for the second time in his career.
Speaking after scoring in Portugals 5-1 win over Poland on Friday evening, Ronaldo said I wish Man United and Ruben Amorim the best of luck in the world.
