Epl: Onuachu To Face Late Fitness Test Ahead Southampton Vs Aston Villa

Southampton interim manager Simon Rusk has provided a fitness update on Paul Onuachu ahead of his sides home clash with Aston Villa.

Onuachu was left on the bench during Southamptons 3-1 home defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

The 30-year-old sustained an ankle injury in the Saints 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace two weeks ago.

Rusk declared that the striker will be assessed ahead of the game.

We've got a fairly clean bill of health at the minute. There are one or two. Charlie Taylor is knocking about with one or two issues," Rusk was quoted by Daily Echo.
