Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, on Saturday overtook Nigerian legend Austin Jay-Jay Okochas assists record in the Premier League.
Ndidi achieved the feat after registering two assists in Leicester Citys 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
He provided the assist for Jamie Vardy and Stephy Mavididi.
Manager Steve Cooper started Wilfred Ndidi, traditionally a defensive midfielder, in the attacking midfield role right behind centre-forward Jamie Vardy, and the two players combined for the first goal of the game.
His two assists against Crystal Palace took his haul to 12 in the Premier League, overtaking the 10 assists that Okocha managed in his career in England.
