Wilfred Ndidi is now the ninth Nigerian footballer to reach 200th appearances in the Premier League.
Ndidi joined the exclusive list in Leicester Citys 3-2 win against Southampton at the St. Marys Stadium last Saturday.
The defensive midfielder, however, still has a long way to go before making it to the top of the list.
Newcastle United legend, Shola Ameobi is the Nigerian with the highest number of appearances in the English top-flight.
The striker made 298 appearances during his 14-year spell with the Magpies.
