Epl: Iwobi Surpasses Kanus Appearance Record

Alex Iwobi moved to second position on the list of Nigerians with most Premier League appearances following Fulhams 3-2 defeat to West Ham United on Tuesday night.

Iwobi has now made 274 appearances in the English top-flight.

The 28-year-old was previously tied in second position with former Arsenal, Portsmouth and West Bromwich Albion hitman, Nwankwo Kanu.

Erstwhile Newcastle United striker, Shola Ameobi top the chart with 293 appearances.
