Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has said Wesley Fofana could be out for over a month.
Fofana suffered a hamstring injury during their 3-0 Premier League win over Aston Villa on Sunday.
Nicolas Jackson, Enzo Fernandez and Cole Palmer all got on the score sheet for the Blues.
Chelsea's victory came at a cost, though, with Fofana hobbling off in the second half and replaced by Benoit Badiashile.
Unfortunately, it's bad news, Maresca said when asked for an update on Fofana.
