Former Arsenal midfielder, Emmanuel Petit, has asked Erik ten Hag to name Kobbie Mainoo as the new captain of Manchester United.
Petit said that the young England international is the future of Manchester United.
The France international told Top Offshore Sportsbooks that Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho can be the leaders at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman asked that both youngsters be handed more responsibility at the club.
Im looking at the squad and I cant see any leaders. Uniteds best players have been the likes of Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo.
