Epl: Danny Murphy Advises Liverpool To Sign Real Madrid Star As Salahs Replacement
Former Liverpool player Danny Murphy has urged the Reds to sign Real Madrid forward Rodrygo as Mohamed Salahs replacement if the Egyptian international leaves Anfield. Salahs current contract with Liverpool is set to expire at the end of the season.
The former Chelsea and AS Roma star has yet to sign a new deal with the Premier League leaders.
As a result, the 32-year-old could leave Arne Slots side as a free agent in the summer.
However, Murphy wants Liverpool to target Rodrygo as Salahs successor, describing the Brazilian as a wonderful talent.
"If Liverpool wanted one player to replace Mohamed Salah, the obvious choice for me would be Rodrygo from Real Madrid. I think hes a wonderful talent, Murphy told OLGB.
