Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has expressed confidence that the team has the potential to dominate English football in the next five to ten years. Currently sitting in third place with 25 points, level with Arsenal, Maresca highlighted that the team's young squad will continue to improve over time.
Speaking to the media ahead of Wednesday's match against Southampton, Maresca stated, "In the next five, ten years, because of the age of the team, Chelsea can be one of the sides that dominate English football."
He also emphasized that while external perspectives might be skeptical, he remains focused on the immediate challenge against Southampton, rather than the long-term outlook for the season. "I'm focused on Southampton I'm not focused on the end of the season," Maresca added.
