Epl: Arsenal Unable To Meet Asking Price For Newcastle Striker, Isak

Arsenal are being prevented from formalising their interest in Newcastle United striker, Alexander Isak, as they cannot afford his asking price, according to Goal.

Gunners boss, Mikel Arteta, is looking to add more firepower as they seek to win the Premier League title.

Isak is believed to be Artetas main target, as he is Premier League proven.

The Swede has already scored 15 times this season, with his last goal coming against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg.

Isak's representatives are aware of the interest from north London. It is, however, being claimed that Arsenal do not have the funds to finance what would be a British transfer record deal.
