Newcastle legend, Alan Shearer, has predicted the Premier League fixtures that will be played on the weekend before Christmas.

The games come after the Carabao Cup quarter-final ties in midweek.

The standout match will be Liverpools trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

But before then, some key games will be played across stadiums in the UK.

Shearer, speaking with BetFair, said Aston Villa v Man City - They're a good side Villa and when they're roared on with that crowd behind them, they'll be very difficult to stop. They're particularly good in forward positions. I'll go for a draw.
