An inquest looking at the Enyobeni tragic event continues at Mdantsane Magistrates Court in the Eastern Cape.
The inquest aims to establish if anyone can be held criminally liable, by commission or omission, for the tragic deaths of 21 patrons at the Scenery Park tavern in June two years ago.
Tavern owners Siyakhangela and Vuyokazi Ndevu are among the witnesses who will testify in the inquest.
Speaking on behalf of the bereaved families, Ntombizonke Mgangala says they are hoping to get answers from the witnesses who will testify.
"Its still early but we believe that truth will reveal itself. We will be able to know what happened, how did it happen and the truth will eventually be put on the table. It does not matter when, but surely we know that will happen and we will not forget to thank our lawyer who is representing us well so far."
