The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has called on governments at all levels to prioritise the needs of citizens by allocating resources to projects and programmes that directly impact Nigerian welfare.
The party's National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, made this call on Sunday in Abuja on the occasion to commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (SAW) with Nigerians, particularly Muslims.
Ologunagba urged the Federal Government to review its policies, especially the hike in petroleum product prices, tax hikes, and tariffs, which have consequential effects on Nigerians.
He advised leaders whose decisions inflicted hardship on citizens to use Eid-el-Maulud for introspection.
While celebrating with Nigerians, Ologunagba urged them to strengthen their resolve for national rebirth to overcome economic hardship and insecurity.
