EFF leader Julius Malema says that the leadership of his party remains intact despite the departure of Floyd Shivambu.
The EFFs Secretary-General Marshall Dlamini will be the partys new Chief Whip in Parliament while Malemas office will be responsible for the partys governance task unit.
Shivambu who was the EFFs Deputy President has since joined the uMkhonto weSizwe Party where hes the national organiser.
Malema says theres no longer a common purpose between him and Shivambu.
I said to you at the press conference that I wouldnt have expected that from a brother. And once I say that.. a word for that is betrayal. So, whether I put it in that way or this way, its the same. But its whats under the bridge now. Nothing of us depends on his existence. No, no, no. We are doing much better now without him.
