Eff Adopts Declaration Of Intent Following Its Conference

The Economic Freedom Fighters EFF has adopted a declaration of intent following its four-day National Peoples Assembly at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Soweto, Johannesburg.

Newly re-elected party secretary-general Marshall Dlamini made the announcement following discussions among the over 2 200 delegates.

Dlamini also addressed the issue of building state capacity.

We reaffirm our call for the abolition of tenders and the establishment of State Owned Enterprises to drive the state-led industrialisation that will rebuild the state capacity and create millions of jobs. This will recognise the threats posed by the 4th Industrial revolution under capitalism."

We resolve to advance technological development that serves the people and not profit the EFF, will champion policies that will prioritise the needs of workers and the poor in the face of automation and Artificial intelligence.
