Ebuka Songs Left Before His Contract Ended - Moses Bliss
Moses Bliss, the gospel singer and founder of Spotlite Nation, has finally addressed the early exit of Ebuka Songs, a former signee of his label. Speaking during a press conference at the Experience 2024 music concert, where both he and Ebuka Songs performed independently, Bliss shared his perspective on the situation.
Bliss clarified that there are no personal issues between him and Ebuka, despite the early termination of their professional relationship. "Me and Ebuka Songs? There are no issues between us," he said. He went on to explain that while Ebuka was signed to Spotlite Nation under a three-year contract, the former signee decided to leave after just 11 months, expressing a desire to pursue his music career independently.
Bliss revealed that the contract was still in place when Ebuka made the decision to part ways, but after reflecting and praying on the matter, Bliss gave his blessing. "Our contract didnt end when it was supposed to end. It was a three-year contract. I think 11 months into it, he said he wants to do his music alone. I prayed about it and I said, 'You can go,'" Bliss explained.
The remarks suggest that while there was a breach of contract, the decision was made amicably, with Bliss choosing not to hold onto Ebuka and allowing him the freedom to pursue his own path.
