Bushman's Nek Berg and Trout Resort in the Southern Drakensberg near Underberg, was engulfed by a runaway bushfire in the early hours of Friday morning, August 9.
The resort reported no loss of life, with guests escaping with not more than a few minor injuries. It relocated guests and staff, many of whom lost some or all of their possessions.

Rioma Cominelli , Head of Strategy and Communication for First Group, added: Amongst the family members of the business, there are already whispers of what could be and how soon we may once again embrace our friends at an all-new Bushmans Nek Resort.
