Senegal international Mikayil Faye has completed his transfer to French club Stade de Rennais from Spanish giants FC Barcelona.
The 20-year-old defender has joined Rennes on a permanent deal after a successful stint with Barcas reserve team in the Primera Federacin.
Rennais will reportedly pay 10.3 million as the initial fee and the deal has a 25 million buy-back clause for Barcelona, and a 30% sell-on clause has also been included.
Stade Rennais F.C. and FC Barcelona have reached an agreement for the transfer of the great Senegalese hope of the 2004 generation, a Rennais statement read .
The central defender has signed for a period of four seasons.
