Donald Trump Claims Club Championship Victory ... But Golf Fans Thinks He Has Done A Kim Jong-il

United States president Donald Trump once again declared a personal triumph on the greens, announcing on Truth Social that he had won the club championship at his own Trump International Golf Club in Florida.

In 2023, Trump previously celebrated a championship win at the same venue despite not participating in the first round, after apparently attending a funeral. According to the Daily Mail, in that instance, Trump told tournament organisers he played a strong round two days earlier and decided that would count as his first-day score.

I just won the Golf Club Championship, probably my last, at Trump International Golf Club, in Palm Beach County, Florida. Such a great honor! the controversial US president posted on Truth Social.

The Awards dinner is tonight, at the Club. I want to thank the wonderful Golf Staff, and all of the many fantastic golfers, that participated in the event. Such fun!

However, fans are not having it, saying the 78-year-old must have cheated, especially after a video of emerged of him shanking a fairly straightforward approach shot. However, it's not known if the shot was played during the round, but it certainly had people talking.
