DMO Africas Eden is spreading its footprint throughout southern Africa with the inclusion of Angola, Malawi, Mozambique and Madagascar expanding the associations membership to eight countries.

The new member countries were confirmed at the Africas Eden AGM on August 7, joining the original member states of Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

This exciting development broadens the geographical and experiential offerings, adding new dimensions to the unique natural beauty and wildlife experiences that define the region, said Africas Eden CEO Jillian Blackbeard .

Established in 1999, Africas Eden is a registered non-profit company domiciled in Botswana with a contingent of more than 400 members across the tourism industry. The company initially focused on promoting Victoria Falls and Livingstone. It later expanded to the greater Kavango-Zambezi (KAZA) region.

Blackbeard said recent improvements in Angolas air connectivity and its pivotal role in conserving the KAZA region made the country a valuable addition.
