The jail cell of the embattled American rapper, Diddy was allegedly raided by Federal agents in the US.
The authorities reportedly took away a bunch of privileged materials and his own writing notes meant for his legal team for an upcoming trial.
Diddys attorney, Marc Agnifilo made this known while accusing prosecutors of leveraging private legal writings seized from the singers jail cell to keep him behind bars until his May trial.
In a new document filed in Manhattan federal court, Diddys defence team alleged that the authorities confiscated documents that were legally privileged and should not have fallen into the hands of the prosecutors.
His lawyer told Judge Arun Subramanian that "This search and seizure are in violation of Combs' Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendment rights."
